On the buffet table you will find fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals and fruit juices.
Other options are Grapefruit (either fresh or grilled).
or Cranachan with a Balkan twist. (Cranachan is a Scottish dish usually made from cream, honey, fresh berries and whiskey. To make it more suitable for breakfast we make ours with Greek style yoghurt.
Main Course Options
Fried breakfast (bacon, sausage or haggis, egg, mushroom and tomatoes).
Aberdeen toastie (Skye smoked haddock in a light cheese sauce, served on toast).
Scrambled egg (with hot-smoked salmon, tomato and mushroom).
Finally fresh bread, toast, oatcakes and local preserves.
Vegetarian/Vegan
Lightly spiced chick pea cakes (served with mushrooms, tomatoes and an option of yoghurt and mint.
Scrambled egg (with mushrooms and tomatoes).
Soya milk is also available.
Special Diets
Nut free (Neither the Cornflakes nor the Shreddies has a warning about contact with nuts but please ask to be served straight from the original packaging).
Gluten free (Gluten free muesli is available as is Home-Baked brown or white bread made with gluten free flour (advance notice needed)).
People with Diabetes, Apple snow (ish) (Stewed Bramley apple sweetened with artificial sweetener and blended with Greek style yoghurt).
